Description
Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Wireless Intercom Rental
Keep your production crew connected with the Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro eight-headset intercom system with hub. Designed for film sets, television production and live events, it provides simultaneous two-way communication for coordinating camera movements, lighting changes and production cues.
Dedicated Hub: Communication Independent of a Master Headset
In a headset-only system, the master headset acts as the communication base for the other seven headsets. If its wearer moves too far away, communication across the remaining crew can be disrupted—even when those crew members are standing close together.
The hub-based kit uses a dedicated base station instead. Position the hub centrally on set to keep coverage independent of any headset wearer’s movements. If one operator moves beyond the hub’s range, the other headsets within coverage can continue communicating.
Full-Duplex Crew Communication
Full-duplex operation allows crew members to speak and listen simultaneously, making it easier to exchange instructions during rehearsals and takes. Wireless electronics are built into each headset, allowing operators to move around the set without a separate beltpack or connecting cable.
Dual-Mic Environmental Noise Cancellation
The Solidcom C1 Pro uses dual-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to reduce background noise transmitted through the microphone. This helps keep spoken instructions intelligible around crowds, equipment and other sources of production noise.
Monitor Every Headset’s Battery Status
The hub display shows the battery level of each connected headset, with a red indication when a battery is running low. Assistants can monitor the crew’s battery status from one location and arrange replacements during suitable breaks, helping prevent unexpected communication loss during a take.
Rechargeable, replaceable headset batteries allow depleted batteries to be exchanged without waiting for the headset to recharge.
A/B Communication Groups and Intercom Integration
The hub enables A/B grouping, allowing headsets to be assigned to separate communication groups. Organise conversations by department or working team—for example, camera coordination and production cues.
The hub also provides 2-wire and 4-wire audio interfaces for connection to compatible intercom equipment.
Mains or Battery Power for the Hub
Power the hub from 220–230 V AC mains through its power adapter, Sony NP-F series batteries or high-capacity V-Lock/V-Mount batteries. These options suit studio operation, location shoots and sets where mains power is unavailable.
Wireless Coverage
The system operates in the 1.9 GHz DECT band and supports a manufacturer-rated range of up to 350 m in clear line-of-sight conditions. Walls, obstructions and the radio environment can reduce usable coverage.
