Ergorig II Camera Support Vest Rental
The Ergorig II CenterFit is a body-mounted camera support system that transfers camera weight from the operator’s shoulder and back to the hips. It preserves the familiar movement and control of handheld camera work while reducing the load carried by the upper body.
This rental package includes the Short-size CenterFit vest and its complete accessory kit, including CounterForce, Undersling and Riser. It provides options for shoulder-mounted shooting and supported handheld operation below shoulder height.
Undersling for Low-Angle Camera Operation
The Undersling suspends the camera from its top handle for shooting below shoulder level. Its elastomer band helps dampen footstep movement, while adjustable suspension height lets the operator change camera position. The included Riser extends the operating height and provides a quick-release connection for switching between underslung and shoulder-mounted setups.
CounterForce for Front-Heavy Camera Builds
CounterForce helps counterbalance camera configurations with weight concentrated towards the lens. An elastomer connects the rear of the camera to an adjustable cleat on the vest belt, providing balancing tension without adding camera counterweights.
CenterFit Design and Quick Adjustment
The CenterFit version places the front support strut centrally on the chest and provides additional clearance along the operator’s right side when using the Undersling. Ergorig II features a ratchet belt and pop-latch releases for fast support-height adjustments.
Short Size: Check Your Torso Measurement
Measure from the front hip point near your belt line to the top middle of your shoulder. The manufacturer recommends Short for measurements below approximately 50 cm / 20 inches. Operators close to this boundary should check the fit before their shoot.
